Saturday

Yesterday Caralie pulled out some of her birthday cards and discovered a $3 gift card from Toys R Us. She's on their birthday list and her card was about to expire so we headed to the store to blow the wad.

First up: Barbies. NOTHING under $12.98 - big surprise.

Second: Disney Princesses. Everything under $10 was out of stock.

Third: My Little Pony. They had a few items for $3.98, but nothing Caralie wanted.

Fourth: Polly Pocket. Nothing she wants. Okay with me. Tired of finding microscopic shoes in odd places.

Fifth: Every other miscellaneous girlie product. We found some creepy motion-sensing baby dolls ...

Needless to say, they didn't make the cut.

Finally, after about 30 minutes of fruitless searching I steered Caralie into the Playdough aisle. And that is where she found the primate of her dreams ...

Coco-Nutty Monkey.

He claps his coconuts together and makes pineapples. He grows Playdough hair. He can even grow a Playdough tongue! She spent several hours playing with this contraption and loved every minute of it.

Thanks, Toys R Us. Happy Birthday to Caralie ... again.

I think those cyber dolls are kind of cute. Maybe not a whole swarm of them...but it's a cute laugh.
